Counsel has extensive experience in Native Title matters representing Indigenous communities and advising governments.
Counsel was responsible for the first Indigenous Land Use Agreement in Australia. Special areas include mining and co-managed national parks.
Counsel also advises Boards on corporate structure and good governance.
Counsel was formally a solicitor for NSW Aboriginal Land Council, the NSW Aboriginal Legal Service, the Australian Copyright Council, and a zoologist for the National Parks and Wildlife Service (Victoria).
Counsel has experience in various criminal matters in NSW and Victoria including trial and appeal matters.
Counsel was formally the solicitor in charge of the NSW Aboriginal Legal Service's involvement in the NSW Royal Commission into the NSW Police Service, and has advised the NSW Government in land rights and related matters.
