Dane completed articles and practiced as a solicitor at Clayton Utz where he gained experience in both Mergers & Acquisitions and Commercial Litigation. As a solicitor in Commercial Litigation, he worked on a variety of complex litigious matters in both the Federal and Supreme Courts.
Dane has a good understanding of the various commercial imperatives facing the parties involved in litigation as he has worked in the International Operations section of one of Australia's largest banks and was both a director and a senior manager with some of the world's largest hospitality groups.
Upon being called to the Bar, Dane read with Mr Ian Martindale S.C.
Dane is experienced in both civil and criminal matters. Since coming to the Bar he has appeared in most State and Federal Courts and Tribunals. Further, he has given advice on a wide variety of matters across the commerical law spectrum.
Dane is a member of the Commercial Bar Association and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
